Each month on the last Saturday, we will meet at one of the coolest Breweries, Wineries, Coffee Shops, or Senior Living Communities in town, for an informal support group. Come and relax, share your stories, receive expert guidance, and find a better way to cope with this difficult time.

Whatever you wish to eat or drink is your only cost. Please arrive 15 minutes early if you plan to order something. This way everyone will have their food or drink and the meeting can begin promptly on time. We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us for a Saturday afternoon Paint & Meditation for Primary Caregivers, generously hosted by a lovely new community called The Oars Senior Living at Greenback Lane. Each month our primary caregiver support group called, “Wine About Your Aging Parents, Brew Up A Better Care Plan” meets at a different winery, brewery, coffee shop, or senior living community in the Greater Sacramento area. This month March 2020, we’ll be meeting at a brand new and truly gorgeous community for a fun and relaxing respite afternoon for primary caregivers.

PAINT & MEDITATION FOR PRIMARY CAREGIVERS

Our very own Medina Kay Van Alstyne is an outstanding artist with years of experience working with seniors. No other in the industry has the experience, skill, and ability to understand and guide primary caregivers through such an experience. Medina will be guiding attendees through the steps of creating a beautiful painting, all while learning how to do some simple meditation and relaxation exercises to stay calm and be ready for anything a caregiving journey might throw your way.

Come in your comfy clothes with an open mind. Be prepared to get in touch with your inner self and to let the artistic juices flow. Get ready to enjoy a tour and the serene environment of The Oars at Greenback Lane, along with the opportunity to sample some of the culinary creations made by their award winning chef.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

If you’re a primary caregiver, it’s probably time to “Wine about Your Aging Parents and BREW UP a Better Care Plan”. It’s time to connect with others who understand your struggles as a Primary Caregiver. This is an informal support group, centered around you, the caregiver. So, join us and you’ll make new friends, who understand what you’re going through and receive guidance from an expert in the field of senior care. Come and relax, share your stories, and find a better way to cope with this difficult time. No family should have to navigate the maze of senior care options alone.

You must RSVP to attend. Space is limited. So, please RSVP soon.
